Following the coastline to the south 3 km/1.8 miles from Tribunj are Vodice – one of the most popular touristic destinations in Croatia, and 15 km/9 miles south is a historic town of Šibenik whose Cathedral of St. James is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Going nort from Tribunj is Zadar, another historic town, a known touristic destination dating from Roman times. Near Tribunj are also two national parks – one on the sea, Kornati National Park with numerous fantastic islands and the National Park Krka with beautiful waterfalls. You can get here by car, bus, or bicycle if you take highway A1, or if you like to travel along the coastline you can take local roads. Tribunj is 30 kilometers / 18.5 miles from A1 and well connected to all nearby cities (Zadar, Vodice, Sibenik, Split). You can get here as well by boat (to Sibenik). Nearby airports are in Zadar (distance 60 km/37 miles) and Split (distance 100 km/62 miles).
